CONTAP-302610: Deduplication fails to restart from the last chekpoint with "Unable to restore the checkpoint from stage: Sorting with err: 61"

Issue

  • The efficiency operation fails to resume from the last checkpoint if it is interrupted by a SnapMirror or SnapVault update, or if it is stopped due to the SIS duration configuration.
  • This causes the operation to restart from the beginning continuously.
  • ems log shows the following error: [sis.chkpoint.restore.failed:error]: SIS operation on the volume '/vol/<vol>@vserver:<SVM UUID>' failed to restore from a previous checkpoint. Starting SIS operation from the beginning.
  • sktrace.log shows the following error: SE failes with CHK_PT restore : i [XX+1] hdr seg count[XX]
  • sis.log shows the following error: Unable to restore the checkpoint from stage: Sorting with err: 61
