CONTAP-298173: NVE to NAE converted volumes are not managed correctly by the data SVM Key manager

Issue

Given the following scenario:

  • Admin SVM has a key manager configured.
  • NAE aggregates have been configured.
  • Data SVM has NVE volumes.
  • Data SVM is configured with its own key manager.
  • The NVE volumes are moved from NVE to NAE so that they are managed by the admin key manager.
  • The converted NAE volumes are again moved from NAE to NVE in an attempt to be  managed by the data SVM key manager.
  • After the latest volume move, the NVE keys still show up as managed by admin SVM key manager.
