Description

  • ONTAP Mediator is an application/service installed on a standard Linux VM (such as RHEL or CentOS).
  • The Mediator service itself does not require backup, and its configuration is not designed to be migrated or restored across VMs.
  • In case of OS upgrades or VM recovery, reinstallation of the ONTAP Mediator is recommended.
