Quad path changed to Multi path in a MetroCluster

Issue

  • The system suddenly changed from Quad Path to Multi Path after ISCSI disconnected with the error bellow:
iSCSI session state is changed to Reconnecting for the target iqn.2016-06.com.netapp:xxxxxxxb-edxx-xxef (type: dr_partner, address: 00.0.0.0:XXX00). Reason: no ping reply after 5 seconds.
  • The system did not retur back to Quad Path even after the ISCSI session was connected again
  • In slot 2 we see the follow CISCO QSFP installed
  • slot 2: Dual 100G Ethernet Controller E810
