Node does not boot after ONTAP update

Issue

  • After performing an ONTAP update, one node fails to boot.
  • The node does not see local disks and MetroCluster functionality is down.
  • The following error is observed when attempting MetroCluster operations:
Error: command failed: Unable to perform the MetroCluster operation because of an ONTAP version mismatch. All nodes in a MetroCluster configuration must have the same version for both the current and default images. Upgrade or revert nodes as needed, then try the command again.
