HA Interconnect down due to faulty X1116A card

  • No takeover has occurred 

Issue

  • PARTNER DOWN, TAKEOVER IMPOSSIBLE and HA INTERCONNECT DOWN alerts generated 
  • Event log reports: 
    [NodeA: intr: netif.linkDown:info]: Ethernet e1a: Link down, check cable.
[NodeA: intr: netif.linkDown:info]: Ethernet e1b: Link down, check cable.
[NodeA: intr: netif.fatal.err:alert]: The network device in slot 1 encountered fatal error e1a/e1b.
  • sysconfig -a show the card ports as offline: 
    slot 1: Dual 10/25G Ethernet T6225-CR
		e1a MAC Address:    00:07:43:xx:xx:xx (auto-unknown-fd-down)
		e1b MAC Address:    00:07:43:xx:xx:xx (auto-unknown-fd-down)
