Checksum Error On Multiple Disks In FC MetroCluster

Issue

  • Multiple remote drives reporting checksum errors in the cluster.
  • Plexes are in a degraded state as random drives go missing and some drives are in prefailed state. 
  • Autosupport alerts are triggered with following messages :  

HA Group Notification from MTFAS8200_2 (CHECKSUM ERROR (multiple disks)) ALERT
HA Group Notification (FILESYSTEM DISK MISSING) ERROR

  • Reseating the drives brings them back online.
