User cannot delete files after a failed restore from Cloud Backup

  • User cannot delete files after a failed restore from CloudBackup. Restore failed due to not sufficient space on volume.
  • Failed files have incorrect size.
  • Deleting files fails with below error
$ rm  test.log
rm: test.log not removed: I/O error
  • EMS reports below error
Fri Jun 16 15:06:28  1000 [node1: wafl_exempt11: wafl.delete.fenced.file:notice]: The file with inode 100 on volume vol1 cannot be deleted because it is fenced by SnapMirror File Restore operation.
