Description

  • SnapVault restore procedure depends on destination volume type (RW or DP) and existence of common Snapshot copies between source and destination volumes.
  • Incremental restore is possible when a common Snapshot exists for RW volumes.
  • Baseline restore is possible for empty DP volumes when no common Snapshot exists.
  • Restore to empty RW volumes is not supported.
  • Restore operations may require volume unmount to ensure data consistency, especially if applications are accessing the volume.
