Answer

After adding new nodes to the cluster, it is necessary to ensure full-mesh connectivity between all Intercluster LIFs of the local and peer clusters.

  • Quiesce any active SnapMirror transfers.
  • Create intercluster LIFs on all newly added nodes.
  • Update cluster peer relationships to include the new intercluster LIFs to maintain full-mesh connectivity between nodes.
  • Resume SnapMirror operations after confirming connectivity and peer relationships.
