WAFL reports Inconsistent user data block for a volume which is part of snapmirror
Applies to
- ONTAP 9.13 and below
- Temperature Sensitive Storage Efficiency (TSSE)
- SnapMirror
Issue
- Cross version SnapMirror replication from Source ONTAP at 9.14.1 or higher to Destination at 9.13.1 or lower.
- TSSE should be enabled.
- The replication from higher version to lower version sends data blocks in compressed format which only 9.14 and above version understands.
- Due to which the destination marks these blocks are psuedo bad, causing the inconsistencies.
