Vserver onlined after Upgrade causing access issue

Issue

  • Cluster 1 is the source for SVM-DR to Cluster 2
  • Cluster 2 migrated the destination Vserver to Cluster 3.
  • After Ontap Upgrade on Cluster 3 the migrated DR Vserver transitions to a running state:

[kern_mgwd:info:3336] vserver_operational:Vserver operational state changed. Vserver cluster02-svm2-dr state: running

  • Cluster 1 is not reachable to clients and reports duplicate IP:
etinet.ethr.duplct.ipAdrr: Duplicate IP address 10.10.10.10!! sent from Ethernet address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx.
  • Cluster 1 and Cluster 3 are peered
  • Migrated Vserver on cluster 3 is of type RW
  • DR -Vserver on Cluster 3 are in a admin up/op down state and relationships were deleted
