Unable to increase volume size of SnapMirror source volume

Issue

  • A RW volume is at or close to full capacity
  • The volume is the source of a SnapMirror DP relationship
  • When either System Manager or the CLI is used to resize the volume, the operation fails with the error:
Error: command failed: Unable to set volume attribute "size" for volume "volume_name" on Vserver "svm_name". Reason: Volume has the fixed filesystem size option set.
