Issue

  • Long-term retention is an additional SnapMirror policy rule, that is creating local Snapshot only over the destination volume
  • Example:
Destination::> snapmirror policy show -vserver vserver1 -policy test
                      Vserver: vserver1

       SnapMirror Policy Type: vault
                 Policy Owner: vserver-admin
                  Tries Limit: 8
            Transfer Priority: normal
    Ignore accesstime Enabled: false
      Transfer Restartability: always
  Network Compression Enabled: false
              Create Snapshot: false
                       Comment: -
        Total Number of Rules: 2
