SnapMirror transfer fails with CSM connection aborted error due to network issue

Issue

  • During SnapMirror transfer, the following error occurs on multiple volumes:
  • Scheduled update was delayed because another SnapMirror operation for the relationship is in progress.
  • Scheduled update was delayed because a previously failed transfer must be completed first.
  • Failed to get information for source volume "xx:xx" for setup of transfer. (CSM: Connection aborted.)
  • Cluster peer health temporarily report as unreachable, later returning to reachable status.
