Manually expanded FlexGroup SnapMirror failing to update

Issue

  • After manually expanding the source FlexGroup to add additional constituents, the destination FlexGroup was then manually expanded to match
  • After this destination-side expansion, the FlexGroup SnapMirror relationship continues to fail with error  
    Failed to restart a partially completed initialize transfer, the destination volume must be recreated
  • All attempts to delete the newly created constituents and reexpand/resync fail with the same error
