Issue

  • After upgrading ONTAP,  LS mirror updates fail with error: 

'Source and destination Snapshot copy lists do not match after the transfer.'

  • EMS-LOG-FILE.GZ detects mgmt.snapmir.schd.trans.fail:alert with this error

[<NODE>: mgwd: mgmt.snapmir.schd.trans.fail:alert]: Scheduled transfer from source volume '<SOURCE>' to destination volume(s) '<DESTINATION>' failed with error 'Source and destination Snapshot copy lists do not match after the transfer.'. Job ID <JOB_ID>.

  • SNAPMIRROR.GZ also shows the error

action=Start source=<SOURCE> destination=<DESTINATION>
action=End status=Failure message=Source and destination Snapshot copy lists do not match after the transfer. source=<SOURCE> destination=<DESTINATION>
