Issue

  • Concurrent SnapMirror updates (two or more relationships) suddenly fail with the following error:
Apr 24 14:09:31 xxxxx [node1:smc.snapmir.update.fail:error]: Snapmirror update from source volume 'Cluster1:vol1' to destination volume '192.168.xx.xxx:/share/vol1' failed with error 'Failed to setup transfer.(Replication operation request failed from Cluster Id: <ID>, Node Id: <ID> to Cluster Id: <ID>, Node Id: <ID> due to a network error(CSM: An operation did not complete within the specified timeout window.))'. Relationship UUID '<ID>'.
  • Single relationship SnapMirror update can succeed.
  • There were no recent changes or maintenance performed.
