  • Qtrees are special directories that allow the application of quotas for NAS file system
  • ONTAP allows creation of qtrees, and qtrees exists inside the volumes
  • SnapMirror does not allow replication of individual qtrees or qtree-level replication
  • Only Volumes can be replicated with SnapMirror
  • XCP or ndmpcopy can be used for qtree level Backup
