Issue

  • Commvault AUX copy job reports failure, with following error:
Error occurred while replicating snaps [x.x.x.x:snapshot-name], for storage policy [policy-name] copy [SnapvaultNEW] MediaAgent [MediaAgent-name]: Backup job [ID]. Missing Error String. Source: COMMVAULTCLS, Process: AuxCopyMgr DataFabric Manager Backup Job id [ID] did not complete successfully for Dataset id  [ID:app_type=AIQ_UM,type=storage_service_subscription,uuid=], Source Copy [132]. DFM Job Status = [ZAPI connection to x.x.x.x timed out after 0:00:30.000]. Source: sbiihdrmed02, Process: AuxCopy
  • SnapMirror_Audit.log shows following error during the same time:
The specified Snapshot copy is older than the base Snapshot copy on source volume "SVM:Source-vol-name".
