Issue

  • When a new local CIFS user is added to the source Vserver and an SVMDR update is triggered, the update fails if the same user already exists on the destination Vserver.
  • The following error is reported in SnapMirror logs::
    Failed to apply the source Vserver configuration. Reason: Apply failed for Object: local_users_rest_view Method: create. Reason: Cannot create local user "<username>". Reason: The specified name already exists.
