Issue

SnapMirror active sync (SMas) relationships automatically enable primary-bias mode if mediator is not configured, not reachable or unhealthy. This mode protects against I/O disruptions during fault scenarios by authorizing the primary copy to serve IO, but temporarily disables SMas failover capabilities. Normally, when mediator gets configured or its service is restored, SMas automatically exits primary-bias mode and re-enables failover functionality. However, in certain cases, it may remain in primary-bias mode, despite mediator being available and prevent an automatic failover from happening.
