Issue

SnapMirror active sync Primary-bias mode is enabled when the connectivity to mediator is lost from both primary and secondary ONTAP clusters or when the mediator goes down. This mode protects against I/O disruptions during fault scenarios by authorizing the primary copy to serve IO, but temporarily disables SMas failover capabilities. However, if the cluster has a SnapMirror active sync (SMas) relationship in uninitialized state, then the primary-bias does not get set.
