Issue

When attempting to initialize a SnapMirror active sync (SMas) relationship from an ONTAP 9.15.1 source cluster to an ONTAP 9.17.1 destination cluster, the CgSMBCInitialize operation fails with the following logs.
Failed to configure source.(The effective cluster version of the source cluster must be ONTAP 9.17.1 or later to use this feature.)
Failed to verify replication of SAN ALUA path configuration.(Failed to fetch information.)
