  • SnapLock is only supported in a 3 hop Cascade within the same SnapLock Type and replication type Mirror
  • SnapLock Compliance

Source A-SLC -> Destination B-SLC -> Destination C-SLC

  • SnapLock Enterprise

Source A-SLE -> Destination B-SLE -> Destination C-SLE

  • SnapMirror Type DP is default Type for SnapLock up to ONTAP 9.4 and for ONTAP 9.5 and later its SnapMirror Type XDP
