Issue

  • NDMP backup fails with error on DMA:

Tape library unable to detect SCSI devices

  • Cleared the failed backup job in the DMA, however the job was still visible in the cluster CLI.
  • Confirmed this by running the ndmp probe command:

::>system services ndmp probe  --OR-- ::>vserver services ndmp probe
