NDMP restore slow while retrieving data from Azure Archival storage

Issue

  • A NDMP backup is configured from NetApp Storage to Veritas NetBackup.
  • As per the Backup policy on DMA, 1st copy goes to NetBackup appliance and 2nd copy to Azure archive storage.
  • When a NDMP restore is performed from Azure archive storage to NetApp Storage, copying the data takes longer in comparison to Non-native NDMP restore.
