Issue

  • NDMP backup or restore fails with "No files were created"
  • With debug logging turned up in the ndmp log file you will see this type of error:  Fri Aug 01 0000 00:00:00 -05:00 [kern_ndmpd:info:7188] [0000]  DEBUG:      entry='RESTORE: Warning: /vol/volumename/folder1/folder2/folder3/EFT - cannot create directory: Not a directory
