  • During a mass data migration from EMC Isilon to NetApp AFF-C800 using SMB and a third-party tool (DataDobi), customers observed extremely high latency on file deletion operations in FlexGroup volumes.
  • The latency was concentrated on a single FlexGroup constituent, leading to migration slowdowns and potential business impact (e.g., project delays, added licensing costs).
