E-series API Output Repeats Identical Data

Issue

  •  All statistics API endpoints on a NetApp EF80 system returned identical, unchanging data values.
  • API endpoints affected:
    • /devmgr/v2/storage-systems/1/analyzed/system-statistics
    • /devmgr/v2/storage-systems/1/analyzed/controller-statistics
    • /devmgr/v2/storage-systems/1/analyzed/drive-statistics
    • /devmgr/v2/storage-systems/1/analyzed/volume-statistics
    • /devmgr/v2/storage-systems/1/analyzed/interface-statistics
  • The issue occurred occasionally, for 10–30 minutes per incident.
  • During these periods, the values in the API output did not update.
  • No error or panic strings were found in system logs.
  • The performance graphs in SANtricity System Manager also showed a flat line (no change) during the affected periods, matching the API output.
