E-Series major event log can not be deleted

Issue

  • Error is observed attempting to Clear the Event Log in SANtricity UI > Support > Event Log:
    • The configured disk limits have been exceeded; writes to the database are currently being blocked (Web Server 503).
  • Error observed attempting to retrieve Trace Buffer in SANtricity UI > Support > Diagnostics > Collect Trace Buffersno space left on device
  • WEB-SERVER-TRACE.LOG from Controller A reports:
    • 2025-08-12 16:08:57,500 ERROR [PrioritizedBlockingPool-1] c.n.e.a.d.d.NetworkLoggerService [NetworkLoggerService.java:333] [requestId=0, deviceId=N/A] Failed to insert Log record: type auditLogLogger, sequenceNumber 1755014937497, exception {}
    • (JE 7.5.11) Disk usage is not within je.maxDisk or je.freeDisk limits and write operations are prohibited: maxDiskLimit=10,737,418,240 freeDiskLimit=1,073,741,824 adjustedMaxDiskLimit=9,663,676,416 maxDiskOverage=1,598,918 freeDiskShortage=-3,939,848,192 diskFreeSpace=5,013,590,016 availableLogSize=-1,598,918 totalLogSize=9,665,275,334 activeLogSize=9,665,275,334 reservedLogSize=0 protectedLogSize=0 protectedLogSizeMap={}
