SCV unable to communicate with SnapCenter server resulting in backup failure

  • SnapCenter Server (SC) 4.1 and higher
  • SnapCenter Plugin for VMware vSphere (SCV) 4.1 and higher

Issue

  • SCV backups fail
  • SCV dashboard on the Status tab, under SnapCenter Server see the error "Unable to connect to SnapCenter Server"
