Answer

  • The passwords in ActiveIQ Unified Manager cannot be encrypted manually.
  • Starting with ActiveIQ Unified Manager 9.13, all of the passwords in the server.properties file are encrypted.
  • It is recommended to upgrade to ActiveIQ Unified Manager 9.13 or later to address any vulnerabilities related to passwords showing in clear text or accessible to everyone.
