  • Does not use single file snap restore

Answer

Yes.

  • Mount a backup as a cloned datastore and Storage vMotion from cloned datastore to other datastores require additional aggregate space since it works like a new data copy.
  • If space guarantee is not enabled for a datastore volume, the capacity required for a new data copy is used from the aggregate hosting that volume.
