Unable to configure the Host Log Directory in SnapCenter

Applies to

  • SnapCenter Server (SC) 
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware (SCV) 
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft SQL server (SCSQL)
  • Host Log Directory (HLD)

Issue

  • Databases are presenting, but not available for backup under Microsoft SQL Server
  • LUNS/Disks not presenting for host 
  • Overall status is unable to configure the HLD with the error:
DEBUG SnapManagerWeb_16691 PID=[7140] TID=[96] (111) Found Virtual Machine Disks (VMDKs), but failed to resolve the storage footprint since no vSphere host is configured with SnapCenter.
