Issue

SCV backups or restores are failing for one or more datastores in a resource group whereas others are completing successfully:
  • Error seen on the WFE  backup job:
    Connecting to scv url: https://localhost:8144/scbr/smcoreplugin/discoverResources
    Unable to discover resources on SCV: com.vmware.vijava.vim25.ManagedObjectNotFound
    Exception in discover resources com.netapp.wfe.model.ApiException: Unable to discover resources on SCV: com.vmware.vijava.vim25.ManagedObjectNotFound
  • And in VMCONTROL log:
    c.n.a.d.StorageDiscoveryManager          : [JobId:67030] java.lang.RuntimeException: com.vmware.vijava.vim25.ManagedObjectNotFound
