SnapCenter scheduled jobs failed to run post upgrade to 6.1

Issue

  • Scheduled backup jobs failed to start, jobs can be initiated manually and complete successfully.
  • Attempt to create new resource group fails with error-  HTTP Error 500.30 - ASP.NET Core app failed to start 
  • The following errors are seen in SnapCenter scheduler logs and system event logs on SC server-

Scheduler job log- 

[2025-07-04 09:27:22:128 WRN] Health check failed due to The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.. Waiting 00:00:05 before next retry. Retry attempt 119.
[2025-07-04 09:27:27:130 WRN] Health check failed due to The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.. Waiting 00:00:05 before next retry. Retry attempt 120.
[2025-07-04 09:27:32:132 FTL] Application start-up failed.
System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
 ---> System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host..
 ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (10054): An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

System event logs-

'an error occurred while using SSL configuration for endpoint 0.0.0.0:8146'
