Issue

  • Backup cataloging fails for the database with:
com.netapp.oracle.core.exception.OracleCoreException: ORACLE-00101: Error executing RMAN command: [CATALOG START WITH '/var/opt/snapcenter/sco/backup_mount/<DATABASE_NAME>_<INSTANCE_NAME>_<TIMESTAMP>/archivelog/' NOPROMPT;]. The command returned: RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

RMAN-03002: failure of catalog command at <DATE> <TIME>

ORA-02290: check constraint (RMAN19C.BP_C_COPYNO) violated
  • MAN user privileges: Granted to SYSBACKUP privileges
