SnapCenter SnapVault update fails: No SnapMirror relationship found

Issue

  • With existing, healthy snapmirror relationships, SnapCenter cannot find the destination SVM to update:

Activity 'Replicating to Secondary' failed with error: Unable to find SnapMirror destination(s) for source <SVM>:<Volume> - No SnapMirror relationships were found.

Note: the destination SVM is missing from the list of storage connections, despite having added the Cluster-LIF of the destination storage system.
