Issue

  • Unable to create a Resource Group in SnapCenter Plug-In for VMware
  • Adding a datastore to a resource group fails:
Unable to add  datastore group: vserver1 to existing Resource Group. It fails with error:
Following entities could not be added to resource. group: vserver1
These are possible reasons for this error:
1) All the Datastores and VMDK files used by VM are not on supported storage.
2) All NetApp Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs) related to Datastore or VM are not registered within SnapCenter and/or SCV.
