Issue

  • When accessing a datastore's Related Objects -> Backup fields, a SnapShot is reported as mounted.  When an unmount operation on the SnapShot is attempted, the following message is encountered:

"There are no mounted datastores"

  • The SnapShot is no longer stored on the NetApp storage systems, or the cloned datastore is no longer mounted in the VMware Cluster.
  • Unable to unmount and delete orphaned snapshots at the datastore level
