Issue

  • Attempts to purge archive logs using SnapCenter Plug-in for Oracle fail. SnapCenter backup and log pruning jobs display warnings or errors such as:
Discovery failed for object oebsprod with warning SCO-LOG-1043: Archived log file missing
 
PostBackupActivity contains warnings: PL-SCO-20059: Skipped archive log pruning as some of the archive log files of the database are missing on the active archive log destinations. Run the ‘CROSSCHECK’ command from the RMAN prompt for the archive log destinations on the database host to synchronize the database control file.
