SC Clone Delete operation fails with: "The storage system is not registered or configured, or the current user does not have the required permissions"

Issue

  • SnapCenter is unable to delete a database clone and presents the following error:
 
"Unable to delete the clone due to previous errors, please cleanup the clone manually. Error: The storage system is not registered or configured, or the current user does not have the required permissions. Verify that the storage system is assigned and accessible to the current user., Error: The storage system is not registered or configured, or the current user does not have the required permissions. Verify that the storage system is assigned and accessible to the current user."
 
  • SnapCenter SMCore logs show the following entries:
