SCV backups fail after ONTAP upgrade to 9.17.x

Issue

After an upgrade to ONTAP 9.17.1x all SCV backups fail with the error:

[ERR] API exception: System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: The expression is missing a value
[ERR] Failed to run a command Get-NcFile
[ERR] Unable to determine file info for the path: /vol/<file_path>.
[WRN] BuildNfsSharesToStorageSystemPathsMap: caught exception for vserver '<SVM_FQDN>', Exception:Error in GetVolumesOptimized:GatherNfsExportVolumeDetails
[ERR] System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
