SCV WebUI does not show MFA Token after SCV becomes unable to access vCenter

Applies to

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) 4.9
  • SCV lost access to vCenter Server for any reason (such as vCenter Server password change or vCenter Server failure)

Issue

  • SCV WebUI (https://<SCV-IP>:8080) does not show MFA Token after SCV becomes unable to access vCenter Server
  • Even after access to vCenter is restored, MFA Token is invisible

Note: SCV 4.8 or earlier does not have the function to show MFA Token
