SCV: Failed to add/update storage system(s) information when editing settings

Issue

  • When trying to edit the Cluster or SVM credentials to update the password or re-enter it (to refresh SVM information) after the upgrade, the following error occurs for clusters entries:
    (X) Failed to add/update storage system(s) information.
    Failed to add/update storage system information:
    Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
 
  • After removing the Cluster-LIF and attempting to add it back in to bypass this issue, the error has changed to:
    (X) Failed to add/update storage system(s) information.
    Failed to add/update storage system information: Failed to connect to storage system <SVM_NAME_OR_IP_ADDR>.\n
    This instance has already started one or more requests. Properties can only be modified before sending the first request.
 

Failed to add/update storage system(s) information when editing settings

  • Not able to connect to SVMs and list the volumes after upgrade of SCV. .
    • Failed to add/update storage system information: Failed to connect to storage system <SVM_NAME_OR_IP_ADDR> .\nInvalid credentials. Please check the username or password
