SCV- Restore of a VM fails with Invalid configuration for device '13'

Issue

  • SCV, restoring a VM to alternate location (different vCenter server) fails, when it performs a Storage vMotion from the mounted snapshot to the target datastore. (and that just before the end of the task).
  • SCV reports the following error messages in various logs.
