SCSQL snapshot retention failure - volume does not exist in Vserver

Issue

  • Snapshots are not being deleted on the database volumes per the SCSQL backup policy retention settings.
  • The corresponding SnapDriveSALDebug.log (SnapCenter 4.8 and lower) or SMCoreService.log (SnapCenter 4.9 and higher) on the SnapCenter Server shows that the snapshot delete ZAPI failed as the volume and snapshot was not found on the SVM as well as duplicate entries for the same SVM with different IP addresses:
