SCO Clone Job Hangs Indefinitely Due to Unsupported Configuration

  • ONTAP 9.15.1P8 (and other ONTAP versions > 9.11.1)
  • Oracle Database 19c

Issue

  • When attempting to clone an Oracle 19.0 database using SnapCenter Plug-in for Oracle 4.7, the clone job hangs and never completes. No errors are displayed in the SnapCenter GUI; the job simply remains in a running state indefinitely.
  • SPL logs show the following entries:
