Primary snapshot retention is not working in SnapCenter when using SnapVault

  • SnapCenter Server with VMware (SCV) or Linux Plug-ins (SCO, SCHANA, SCC)
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for SQL (SCSQL)
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Exchange (SCE)

Issue

When the SnapVault retention is lower than primary retention, the primary snapshots do not get deleted for certain scheduled policies
